Episode 30: The Cottonwood Inn Séance – Unveiling the Roen Family’s Secrets

A transformative séance that reshapes the haunted legacy of the Cottonwood Inn

Following the live Halloween 2024 investigation at the Cottonwood Inn in Empire, Michigan, Josh and Tammy conducted a private séance to delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding the historic inn. Built around 1900, the inn was originally the Roen family farmhouse, home to the reclusive Roen brothers: Severt, Andrew, and Benhart. Severt disappeared in 1977 under mysterious circumstances and was never found. In 1985, Andrew and Benhart were found deceased in the home, with over $100,000 in cash and numerous antiques discovered inside.

During the séance, Tammy connected with multiple spirits, including those believed to be the Roen brothers. The communications provided new insights into their lives and deaths, challenging previous assumptions and shedding light on the family’s enigmatic history. This profound experience has reshaped our understanding of the Cottonwood Inn’s haunted legacy and our future investigations in this beautiful home.
