It’s been the summer of video production!

I have a love/hate relationship with video editing, on one hand I love to produce our exploring videos to get our viewers closer to the real life experience we had, on the other hand it means I’m basically bunkered down in my house every day that I’m not working my full time job.

With that said, a HUGE thank you to our amazing YouTube viewers! I was notified a few weeks ago that my channel YouTube.com/whatsajosh hit 30,000 views, that’s all thanks to the collaboration with Psychic Tammy Schuster and you guys. So thank you!

On top of that, we did a big push to get the channel up past 500 subscribers. I know, it doesn’t seem like much but when I relaunched the channel last year it only had 30. So, to me, 500 is a big deal and it gets us closer to monetization! We obviously don’t do this for the money but it will help us get to new locations.

That being said, we’re releasing two pre-season summer videos for our subscribers. The first is a condensed version of our live stream from the Ohio State Reformatory. This was originally a 6 hour video that I got down to around 90 minutes. It includes an uncut tour of the prison, views from solitary confinement, updates from Tammy, Dawn, and I, plus a crazy Estes Method at the end.

Coming up in a week we’ll be re-releasing our live video from the Cottonwood, including the story and tour of the haunted bed and breakfast!
